He discussed the rapidity with which the world is changing and implied that globalization is decreasing the importance of nations while increasing the importance of both individuals and corporations. He noted that the Stone Age did not end because we ran out of stones, and implied that we are now coming to the end of the “Land Age” (presumably not for a lack of land, though some would argue this point). He encouraged the development of a new economic model of cooperation between Israelis and Arabs, implying that this would preclude any desire for war between the two groups. With this new paradigm of global economic cooperation, he said, we will not have wars because they will be irrelevant.
A few minutes later, after dropping this bombshell and taking a circuitous route around it, he drifted back by alluding to the current War On Terror. He told us that it’s not a war against terror per se, nor a clash of generations as it has been dubbed, but instead a clash of generations. He implied that the older Arab generation is terrified of the new world order because they fear a loss of their way of life. That is the reason for the uprising against the Western world. The younger generation, he seemed to say, will be ready to embrace the new world order once the older generation is gone.heals and spits out the bullet.
I cheated this weekend with two large orders of McDonald’s fries and a fish sandwich. I felt noticeably lethargic 20 minutes after consuming the food while feelings of guilt washed over me.
Today, I’m working on redeeming myself. I’m eajazz artist

Good Info
I found this bit of helpful information on losing weight while checking my email. It provides 25 ways to lose weight and maintain a healthy lifestyle.
Matt and HRG leave to check out Primatech and RM stays behind to keep the family hostage. In another flashback (14 years ago), HRG’s boss (Eric Roberts) arranges for “a new kid we just found in Haiti” to come to HRG’s house and make his wife forget she was snooping around his stuff and found a gun and sedation kit. In the present, RM figures out Claire’s not dead when she tries to rescue them, then goes nuclear when HRG, Matt, the Hatian and Eric Roberts all show up. Everyone else flees but Claire runs in, saves her surrogate father, stabs RM with a sedative, then walks outside ALL SERIOUSLY CRISPY AND BURNED before healing as she walks across the lawn in front of everyone in her entire neighborhood.
Of course, this had me scratching my head. In fact, his whole talk left me scratching my head. It was rather foofy. Full of grandiose ideas about how the world has changed and how, somehow, it makes our old problems irrelevant, but without explaining the somehow.
Given my background and own belief set, I certainly took his points about a worldwide knowledge economy to heart. The most important national resources these days are not static, they are mobile. Science, knowledge and scientists are relatively free to flow across national boundaries. However, I strictly discount the notion that because of this new reality people will no longer fight about land. A person’s home will always be dear to him no matter how much knowledge fills his brain.
